The Graduate Legal Editorial Assistant position is for law school graduates and lawyers who would like
to try out legal publishing as a career.

Duties:
- Verify accuracy and ensure quality of all content in assigned books, including substantive cite analysis.
- Ensure use of proper editorial style and cite form.
- Research legal issues and edit book text when necessary.
- Cooperate with managing editor to accomplish all necessary procedures for verifying book content.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from ABA-approved law school.
- Strong editing background, preferably on law review or other law-related journal.
- Solid research skills, analytical ability, and editorial judgment.
- Familiarity with Bluebook citation rules.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Westlaw, and other online applications.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work without constant supervision.
- Applicants must complete an editing test before a second interview can be scheduled
- Requires a commitment of at least 30 hours a week
- Requires a four-month commitment
